Nick Colina is the Administrator of Operations at Anco Iron & Construction Inc., a third-generation, minority-owned steel fabrication and installation company based in San Francisco. Founded in 1969 by his grandfather and great-uncle, Anco has contributed to notable Bay Area structures, including the Chase Center, Candlestick Park, and the Ferry Building.
Nick joined the family business in the late 2000s to help revitalize it during challenging economic times. Under his leadership, Anco expanded its project portfolio and increased annual sales from $250,000 in 2013 to $4.5 million in 2020.
Beyond his role at Anco, Nick is an active advocate for diversity and inclusion in construction. He serves on the board of directors for the National Association of Minority Contractors Northern California Chapter (NAMC) and is a founding member of BuildOUT California, an LGBTQ+ advocacy group aimed at strengthening the construction industry through diversity.
Nick’s commitment to community and professional growth has been recognized through his involvement in programs like Clark Construction’s Strategic Partnership Program, which has provided valuable networking and development opportunities for Anco.
